The function of news websites in the formation of public attitudes towards the decisions of the Federal Supreme Court, a survey study of the audience of the city of Baghdad

Abstract

This study dealt with identifying the role of news websites in shaping public attitudes towards the decisions of the Federal Supreme Court. related sub. In order to answer these questions, the researcher used the survey method based on the (questionnaire) tool to collect information from the research sample, which numbered (592) respondents. At the end of his research, the researcher reached a number of results, most notably:

1. The results of the study showed that (Alsumaria News website) topped the news websites that respondents prefer to follow to know the decisions of the Federal Supreme Court, and it ranked first with a rate of (12.55%), and (Al Sharqiya News website) ranked second with a rate of (10.65%).

2. The results of the study showed that a decision (approving the general final results of the membership of the House of Representatives) was issued for the decisions of the Federal Supreme Court that were covered by news websites, according to the choice of the public, at a rate of (20.25%), followed by a decision (resolving disputes that occur between the federal government and the governments of regions, municipalities and governorates and local administrations) ranked second with a rate of (19.20%).

3. The results of the study showed that the most prominent determinants of processing news websites for decisions of the Federal Supreme Court according to the relative importance index appeared to be (adopting views to launch prejudices on decisions of the Federal Court) with an arithmetic mean (2.52) and a percentage weight of (84) and being (takes Considering that when it presented the decisions of the Federal Court, the issue of national unity among the groups of society) it ranked second with an arithmetic average of (2.49) and a weight of (83), and because it (presents the decisions of the Federal Court without explanation and clarification) ranked third with an arithmetic average of (2.47) and a weight Celsius (82,6)
